Project Experience
In a period of less than 20 months, Shannon was instrumental in positioning a $26 Million dollar enclosed mid market shopping mall for disposition, by negotiating and executing NEW leases with over 11 National Retailers. Shannon also went to the existing tenants and negotiated long-term renewals with over 18 of the existing tenants. The newly positioned shopping center closed at a sales price of approximately $38 million dollars.

Shannon worked for over 8 years with Bend Properties where she was responsible for leasing their entire real estate portfolio of centers, located in Southern California, Northern California and Las Vegas. Again, Shannon created the entire in-house leasing department. Shannon created benchmarks for business plans and credit qualifying procedures, for new and existing tenants. Shannon negotiated, drafted the documentation on most all of the retail tenants. In instances of very large corporate leases, Shannon coordinated with outside counsel. This position required a person to be extremely outgoing, work well under pressure and resolve problems under deadlines, with tact and diplomacy.
